We offer children’s church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. On other Sundays, children are welcome to sit with their families — we’re a family-friendly church and understand little ones..

We love welcoming our guests! Visitors are warmly acknowledged during service, but you won’t be put on the spot or asked to speak — you can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

We are blessed to be led by Bishop Lester T. Evans and First Lady Carol Evans.

Their heart is to create a church where everyone feels welcomed, encouraged, and strengthened in their walk with Christ. They are passionate about teaching God’s Word and caring for the community.

Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or are just beginning your faith journey, you will be warmly received at Indiana Avenue Church of God in Christ.
